Dhanhar Masala introduced itself as a leading manufacturer and exporter of indian spices viz. Agmark. Hing (Asafoetida), Blended Spices and Ground Spices. The company was established in 1964 with a motive of providing quality products and services to its customers with the ideas of well educated and knowledgeable man Late Mr. Chhabildas G. Wankawala. He was having a great knowledge of ayurved and so he used his knowledge in manufacturing asafoetida and other spices to sell on retail basis. He gave his knowledge to his son late Mr. Dhansukhbhal C. Wankawala who then started this company to make its products good quality and hygienic
“DHANHAR name actually derives the spotual identity “DHAN” means “Laxmi” and “HAR” means “MAHADEV, in early 60’s a young dynamic entrepreneur Late Mr. Dhansukhbhal C. Wankawala started the company to make a way of becoming Pioneer in Hing and Blended Spices industry with the help of his father. The company get started as gruh udhyog and in 1972 the manufacturing plant was established, In 1990 a major milestone was achieved when the company got ‘AGMARK” Certification for Hing and in 1995 same certification was accorded to spices. The company has its production unit at A. K. Road, Surat (Gujarat) India and Head office at Bhagal, Surat (Gujarat) India which in heart of Surat City.
Strength
Today the company is manufacturing more than 30 different types of spices under the able guidance of Mr. Hitesh D. Wankawala and Mr Jignesh D Wankawala who the director of the company the able and dynamic sons of Late Mr. Dhansukhbhai C. Wankawala. Mr. Hitesh C. Wanakawala is looking after sales and export department and Mr. Jignesh D. Wankawala is carefully handling the production and quality control department. They both have enough dynamism and acumen to lead the company to new heights. They are the strength of the company.
The company uses modern machines and techniques to maximize their production and to minimize the waste. High speed servo driven auger filles, high speed volumetric viscose filler and volumetric cup filing machines are used in the factory. The company uses high quality pouches and boxes for packaging. The products are available in Rs. 5.00, 25g, 50g, 100g, 200g, 500g, 1 Kg. 5 Kg. 10 Kg. 20 Kg and also as per the demand of the customers. It has wide network of dealers and agent in the cities and countries.
